If you would like to place an order for a cake please drop us an e-mail or give us a call to talk about your requirements and to check our availability. All cakes are made fresh to order, so we ask that you give us as much notice as possible. However, if you have a last minute need for cake, do call. We will always do our best to help with cake emergencies!
Celebration cakes can be made to any size required (within reason)! The minimum order for cupcakes is 12 of any one flavour.
Packaging and Cake Care
You are welcome to come and collect your cake from us in Rotherfield or we happily provide a free delivery service within the local area (10 mile radius). All cakes are appropriately packaged ready for a careful car journey, and should arrive in the same condition they left us in. Once you have collected your cake, or taken delivery of it, you are responsible for its' safe keeping.
Cakes are fragile and do not like extreme temperatures. If you are not eating your cake straight away, keep it in a cool, dark place. Do not keep it in the fridge or in an airtight container as it will sweat. Our cakes do not contain preservatives (that’s one of the reasons why they are so delicious), so eat your cake soon after collection or delivery (why would you want to wait, anyway?)
Copper Kettle Cakes use only fresh, finest quality ingredients and we always use free range eggs. Unless requested we do not use nuts in our recipes. However, nuts and nut products are used in our kitchen. Our standard cake recipes use ingredients containing dairy and gluten. However, we are happy to make cakes that are gluten or dairy free. Just ask at the time of order.
Cake Stand Hire
Copper Kettle Cakes have a number of beautiful cake stands to hire of differing sizes. A small charge is made for this service and a deposit is required. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Amendments to and Cancellations of Orders
If you change your mind about the design or flavour of your cake, please contact us as soon as possible. If we have not yet started making your order and the changes are possible then we will be happy to amend your order. However, charges will be applied if specific items or ingredients have already been purchased by us.
If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as you are able. Depending on the size of the order and notice given, charges may apply.
Deposits and Payment
A deposit of 50% of the total order price is required at the time of order, with the balance payable ten days before collection/ delivery. For orders placed less than ten days before collection / delivery, full payment must be made at the time of order.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or cheque. All payments must have cleared before collection or delivery.
